The Garden Tea House
When you visit the gardens make sure you visit The Garden Tea House & Fudgery. Following numerous requests for morning and afternoon tea to be available on a regular basis at the gardens, we decided early in 2009 to open The Garden Tea House.
During the research process, and looking into our various options, we decided that handmade butter Fudge would also be a great addition to the uniqueness of a visit to the Gardens!
We have also included a small but inviting gift shop to complete your visit.
While the Tea House has all the tradition of old, it has a modern feel, and we’re sure you will feel comfortable whether dining inside, or relaxing out in the gardens. The full table service extends to wherever you are at Sunny Ridge!
Our current range of fine teas includes old favourites like

Earl Grey, Prince of Wales, English Breakfast, Irish Breakfast; and
-
Assam, Darjeeling, Gunpowder (organic green tea);
as well as a variety of flavoured green and black teas
We also stock some beautiful chais - Green chai, Chai Masala, Vanilla Chai.
Organic Chamomile, Lemongrass, Peppermint and Detox & Cleanse are a nice alternative, as is, Orange Pekoe (decaffeinated alternative to English Breakfast)
For those who appreciate a very fine tea, why not try our Jasmine Downy Pearls (Buddha Tears) or the Jasmine peach, handwoven teaballs.
A fantastic new product we are now selling at the Teahouse is Bistrotea. There are currently 9 different flavours:
Black Tea: Apple Cinnamon, Earl Grey, English Breakfast
Green Tea: Peppermint, Lemon Grass, Ginger
Red Tea: Jasmine Lotus, Strawberry, Vanilla Peach
We also sell Bistrosugar in four fantastic flavours: Amaretto, Irish Cream, Vanilla, Hazelnut
In order to complement your visit to the Tea House, you may wish to purchase one or more of the above flavours from our range as a special gift or for you to enjoy at home.
If by chance you are not a tea drinker, you can still enjoy a visit to the Tea House, with a variety of coffees, hot chocolate and cold drinks on offer.
And then there’s our home cooked specialties – a variety of delectable desserts as well as sumptuous savouries.
We’re sure you will enjoy your experience at the Tea House, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
